The concept resolves complex mathematical surfaces into a buildable, double-curved parametric envelope that responds dynamically to its maritime context. The design seeks to bridge the gap between fluid architectural form-finding and optimized, data-driven fabrication logic.
The structure aims at integrating advanced manufacturing techniques smoothly into the physical construction process. By engineering the outer shell geometry explicitly for adaptive moulding technology, the design allows 156 double-curved envelope panels to be entirely unique while completely bypassing traditional tooling overheads.
The bridge's substructure is conceived as an algorithmically generated network of hundreds of custom, CNC-fabricated brackets. This automated structural system anchors the unique panels directly to the primary frame, managing all downstream numeric data exports and manufacturing quality control loops natively within the script.
The Blue Marina Bridge is a high-performance, experiential infrastructure which strives to present the symbiotic relationship between pure computational logic and physical execution.
